    Activity 1: Warm up

     

    1. Review Chinese characters and sentence structures learned
      from the last lesson.
    2. Say something about “Paper”.

     

    Activity 2: Discussion

     

    What the advantages of paper?

     

    Activity 3: Watch and discussion

     

    Watch a video and then answer the following questions.

    1. How does paper influences our daily lives?
    2. How does paper influences students’ lives?

     

    Activity 4: Group work

     

    Matching sentences

    1. Prepare the slips of paper. Divide students into groups of three.
    2. Guide students in a review of the previously learned structures.
      Lead students in the practice of speaking as well.
      一来···,二来···; ···而且···;  虽然···,但是····
    3. Teacher gives a cut up page of slips to each group, so every group should have three slips, each student with one slip.
    4. Each student needs to create a sentence, according to the sentence structure that was previously learned, on the paper making sure it is different from the other partners’.
    5. Once those are all finished, cut the slips to separate the sentence in half.  Swap sets of paper between different groups, so every group
      will have a full set of papers that was made by another group.
    6. Teacher instructs each group member to take two random slips.
      You in each group need to take turns reading your half paper out
      to let other members find the other half of your sentence. The group
      to match their sentences the quickest is the winner.

    3. Students can express ways to use paper properly.
